Oh no you DIDN'T!!!

Ok, so I am fuming right now! It takes alot to get me going......... but I am going and when I write the reason why, I am sure most of you will understand. I say most of you because, well, you are mothers and if not mothers... you at least are the one who takes care of a lot of the house work! Am I right??? Well let me explain to you! Last night I was speaking with someone (well actually it is 12:45 in the morning so it was just a few hours ago.. but I was just up with Brenley and I couldn't stop thinking about this, so, I decided to blog!) anyways- I was having a conversation with this person and they had the guts to ask me "what do you do all day?" OK, so no it wasn't a nice "what do you do all day"- they were really wondering what I did! (my jaw dropped that they would even ask such a question!) I get to stay home with Brenley and consider it to be such a privlage... I don't do it because I am lazy and hate to work, in fact- some days I wish I could get out of the house every day and get a break and go to a normal job- But I don't so that means I am home all day watching soap operas and eating cheetos right? WRONG! I know alot of you are right here with me and even those who do go to work are right here with me too.... I honestly don't stop all day long... I can't explain everything I do...heck some days I look at the clock and its almost four and I am wondering where my day has gone because I have been running all day. I am not perfect at keeping my house clean, but I try- some days it is embarassing and I just hope no one comes to visit because I still have dishes in the sink from two nights ago and the laundry is piled up and the toilet is dirty and there is a strange smell coming from my garbage and sooo on- BUT that doesn't mean I haven't been busy all day!!! I have come to realize everyone has those day's where the house is a pigsty and I know that they don't choose to have it that way- If we all were perfect and had even an extra three hours in the day our houses would be spotless and would always be in order- but lets get back to reality here and realize its not always like that!!! So you want to know what I do all day hu?? well why not come over and spend a few days observing... I won't mind- go ahead and plop your butt next to my nice big pile of clean laundry needing to get folded and I will show you!

La LA LA La LLLLAAAAA LLLLLLAAAAAAAA!!!

So many of you know that I have been working in the Young W omens in my ward for the past two years.... and have LOVED IT! I have grown to love and admire each and every girl for their individuality and strength that they have. I would say that it is a calling that I have always wanted and was so blessed to be able to be a part of these girls life. But, I guess when you get too comfortable somewhere.... the Lord likes to throw you for a loop and release you and put you as.... dum de dum dummm... The Primary Chorister!! Yes, some of you may have thought "come on how bad can that be???" But me... I was scared to death! You see, if I were to know how to read any sort of notes maybe it wouldn't be so bad, or if I knew how to sing well... maybe it wouldn't be so bad or even if I knew how to lead music it would be a little bit better but, since I know how to do none of the above, it kind of rattled my nerves a bit.... ??!!!!
Well, it has been a Month now, and I feel like the luckiest person in the world that I get to have this calling! I still don't have the leading or reading note thing down, but I figure that will come! I wont say that it is easy... actually far from that, but being able to teach these special songs to these children in such a fun way has been such a blessing beyond measure. Today they were able to pass off "I lived in Heaven" the song that we have been learing for January! I was so stinkin proud of them, and I would say they were proud of themselfs too! The spirit was so strong in that room! I never realized how these songs are pretty much a testimony put to music- Tears came to my eyes as we sang the last song today- It's a lot easier to explain to the Young Women why you are crying than trying to tell these sweet spirits why I started to cry and had to stop singing because they were singing so good!
I am so grateful for this new calling- It has already strengthened my testimony so much- what an honor it is for me to be able to teach these songs to these children..... Its funny because a few weeks before I got this calling I had been struggling with a few things and was telling Larry about them and he said-" Well, when you are struggling, Start singing a primary song- that always works!" I just kind of blew him off, and then thought of that when I was called! Man I guess this is the Lords Idea of getting me back on track! I love it though!! I know that this is another adventure I get the opportunity to go on through my Journey of life! I know the Lord has a plan for each of us, and knows what we need and what is best for us- even if we might think alittle different... we just have to put our faith in him that he will get us through anything that is put in our path. He will ALWAYS be there for us, it is just up to us, to ask for the help.

ReMiNiScINg!!

I was sitting here bored on my computer and was looking at all of my pictures and came across our cruise pictures!! Some of you could care less about reading this post, and I don't blame you! So you can stop reading now if you want- but I know those of you who were on the trip would enjoy the reminiscing and pictures as well :) About this time- two years ago we headed East to the warm ocean with a few of our close friends! OHHHH how much fun we had!! And how I want soo bad to be back there right now! We first went to Universal Studios and then stayed the night in Florida (we all were in one big hotel room...and had a crazy fun time!;) Then we headed out onto the open seas for a few days! I look back now and wish that I would have lived it up a little bit more... but hey, no regrets! Maybe we will just have to do another one.. everyone start saving the pennies... well maybe we should plan a little further into the far future.. Thanks guys for such an awesome time!

Ok So I really fee like I haven't blogged in a long time and if you want me to be completely honest I haven't had a desire to! I seriously feel like the past Month has been a big blur! The holidays were great with lots of parties and craziness and I am soo soo happy that it is all over with! Don't get me wrong I love being with friends and family... I am just glad that we can get back to normal life again (whatever that is!) We started this year off with what we want to do more... HAVE FUN! Larry and I took our snowshoes out and had a blast together... I forget how much I love being outdoors until I get out there! We are going to try and get out more this next year and experience all that life has to offer and more! Wahoo- wish us luck!

"Live life fully while you're here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You're going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don't try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.”
