ItS vEgAs BaBy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Hey Hey- So this past weekend was a wild and crazy one to say the least! The Keele family headed on down to good ole LAS VEGAS for Mitchell, Larry's brothers wedding ;) Mitch will be leaving for Iraq/Afganistan (he is not sure which one yet) in three weeks and him and his now, new Sweet wife Brandy wanted to get married before he left. So to say the least, Vegas, was the way to get it done quick and easy:) We flew down Friday morning, met up with Mitch and Brandy, they got married that night and we flew home Saturday.. so it was a short and sweet trip but we still had so so much fun with many laughs and giggles....... Even if we could hear our neighbor across the hall of the hotel room cussing her child through her door!!;) Or even if we were cruisin the Vegas Strip in a 15 passanger van!! Or even if our $83 meal of fake Loberster and Crab, with a hair haging out of my egg roll wasn't fine dining.... or even if your husband has to be paged over the intercom of the airport because the plane is getting ready to leave, and his wife and screaming child our frantically calling him to only find out he is being held up in the bathroom with a not so happy Tummy......Or even if there were cockroaches on the sidewalk of the "Joyful Hearts wedding Chapel" ....... Or even if your swim suit gave you saggy poo bum.... Oh Dear- I could go on and on, but I keep cracking up just thinking of this trip and some of the "events" that happened!!! Another exciting and eventful trip with the Keeles! We are so excited to have Brandy in the family and be able to get to know her in the short two weeks we have. Congrats Brandy and Mitch, we love you both!!!!! WAHOO FOR VEGAS!!!
Rolling down the streets, in Hip, Stylin, White 15 passanger Van! If thats not cool, I don't know what is!!! Who needs an Escalade when you've got this??
My little swimmer!! She was so good in the pool! She didn't even fuss- Maybe she would have enjoyed it alittle more if she could have stayed awake... needless to say Brenley and I had to retire early from swimming because she kept falling asleep in my arms in the water!
Now this is a hard core family!! I couldn't be any prouder of my family-arn't they cool?? ??? ????
Here is the Chapel where Brandy and Mitch got married- Man, I never realized how many wedding chapels there are in Vegas... So many choices, which one to choose???
CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY ;)
Here is the "Happy Couple" right after they got married!

"MEMORIES"

MeMoRy LaNe...I got this from a friend's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.Memory Lane...I got this from a friend's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

Blessing Day!!

Sunday was such a wonderful day at our house. I had the wonderful opportunity to be a be able to hear the man that I love sooo much, give my beautiful daughter a name and a blessing. I felt the spirit so strong in that meeting! How wonderful it is, that I have the knowledge and opportunity to be able to be with my family forever- I am so proud of Larry for being the worthy priesthood holder that he is and for being able to bless Brenley. He was so nervous but was still able to give such a sweet blessing. He is such a good example to me in so many ways and is continuing to be a good example to our little girl. He is so strong, I don't think I let him know enough how proud I am of him, and the life that he has chosen to live- He couldn't make me any more happy as a wife. I thank my Heavenly Father every day for the wonderful man that I get to live with for Eternity! Thank you everyone who came to support us for Brenley's special day, It was fun being able to spend the day with the people who mean so much to us in our life! Brenley is surrounded by so many family and friends who love her- I am so greatful for all of them and the love and friendship they show to us.

Happy 4th

Here are a few pictures from our fun filled 4th of July! (Maybe that fun- filled part was a bit exaggerated!) On the night of the 3rd we headed down to the Riverton Parade. My family seems to have made it a tradition to get together and go every year--It was so hot, and on the trek to try and find where my family was sitting, while dodging all the other crazy paraders, I thought to myself- "This is nuts, what are we thinking, I am sweating bullets, my baby is screaming, is this really worth it?? Parades really aren't that cool....." but as we got settled it turned out to be fun- not necessarily the parade itself, but it is just fun being with the family- we seem to make it a good time wherever we are:)
On the Forth we hung out at home and relaxed in the morning. It was so nice to have Larry home that I took full advantage of being lazy with him- Brenley even took an early morning nap so Larry and I could sleep alittle bit longer. After the morning of laziness we headed to Riverton Town Days- Ran into some fun people we hadn't seen in a while- then ended the night sitting on blankets with good friends and family to watch fireworks! All in all I think Brenley was soo good for her first Forth of July! I hope everyone else had a good 4th!

Tagger!!!!!!

So, I usually horrible at doing these tags, I have good intentions but I always just forget- so everyone pay attention, cause this doesn't happen too much!!!

Here's how this "Tag" works. List 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 surprising facts about yourself. Then tag 5 people at the end of your post.OK, here we go!
3 Joys:- My wonderful husband- Sweet little (big) Brenley- the great outdoors

3 Fears:- Coming home and finding my house on fire (I worry about this every time we are gone or out late), Losing any member of my family, rolling a 4-wheeler (this wasn't so until I watched my mother in Law roll her's- I am so afraid to even get on them now)

3 Goals (short term):- It's really sad that I have had to sit and think about this one- but I would have to say to find some type of job or passion that I can stay home and still be a good mom, but be able to help bring in money too- (I realize that every mother has this goal...:)
3 Current Obsessions:- My family- Getting back into shape- Camping
3 Surprising Facts:- I just cute my hair past my shoulders- I broke my arm while in a mosh pit- I find doing guy stuff a lot more fun than doing gal stuff- dont get me wrong... Its fun to have girls there too, but, im just not into the shopping and girlie stuff- I still love all of you who are though:)
I tag: Jessica, Sarah, jenny, Becky, terri, adrianne, janell and whoever else wants to do it!

Heaven

I have been reminded the reason I love the Mountains so much!!This Past weekend We headed up to Gooseberry Reservoir to do a little bit of fishing- While Larry was fishing I took Iceman for a little walk up a trail. As I came around a corner I looked down, and saw this beautiful river (the one in the picture isn't the real river, but I just wanted you to get the feeling of how pretty it was:) It was soo peaceful and quiet I was in Heaven... and reminded that when life gets too hectic and crazy, I just need to head out in the great outdoors and look at the beauty all around me:)......... So with that, I just had a song pop into my head, and the singer- well, the late great, one and only, CHRIS LEDOUX!! I grew up listening to this guy, and I am pretty sure I would have married him if had the chance (Don't worry, Larry is aware of this obsession).. anyways here are the lyrics to the song, that reminds me of how greatful I am for the Beautiful "WESTERN SKIES" we live under and the life that I live and love!
The nashville friends think iâm strange to make my home out on the range

Think itâs nothin? but a God forsaken land
Why donât you bring your guitar and family, move on down to tennesse
Well, I just smile because they donât understand
But if they ever saw a sunrise on a mountain mornin?
Watched those cotton candy clouds roll by
Theyâd know why I live beneath these western skies

I got peace of mind and elbow room I love the smell of sage in bloom
Catch a rainbow on my fishin? line
We got county fairs and rodeos, ainât a better place for my kids to grow

Just turn îem loose in the western summer time
And if you ever held your woman on a summerâs evening
While the prairie moon was blazin? in her eyes
Youâd know why I live beneath these western skies

You ainât lived until youâve watched those northern lights
Set around the campfire and hear the coyotes call at night
Makes you feel alright

So guess iâll stay right where iâm at, wear my boots and my cowboy hat
But iâll come and see ya once in a while
Iâll bring my guitar and sing my songs, sorry if I donât stay too long
I love tennessee but ya know itâs just not my style
I gotta be where I can see those rocky mountains
Ride my horse and watch an eagle fly
I gotta live my life and write my songs beneath these western skies

When I die you can bury me beneath these western skies
