Jeans too long?

Your Jeans too long?Need to do some hemming? Check this website out- dacia ray- I was able to shorten a pair of my Jeans and still keep the original hem so it doesn't even look like altered them at all! I was totally nervous to do it, and pretty sure I would end up messing up somewhere- But it worked and I no longer have to drag behind me an extra yard of jeans....-Try it out!!

Goodbyes

Last night I said goodbye to an old friend. Someone who has been there for me through thick and thin the past five years. Sometimes the only friend I felt like I had sometimes- she was always there for me through those long drives to nowhere.... she has caught many of my tears and laughed along with my stupid jokes. She has put up with my wild crazy music- and at times when she shouldn't have pulled through for me- she always did, even when I had her in circumstances that were less than comfortable. I knew this moment was coming, she was too sick for me to take care of anymore and I had to pass her on. This friend I am talking about... well, is my little black Volkswagon Jetta!!
OHHH the memories!! This was the car I bought after I graduated High School my first "big" purchase! That car rocked (ok so maybe in its early days..) This baby could go anywhere... It was a trooper! But I guess you have to say goodbye sometime- and we figured that since the A/C broke last summer, there was no way we could go another summer with the windows down and sweat rings in our armpits! (eww) ! So last November we got another car and the little Jetta sat all winter long:( and finally after weeks of people calling and saying that they were coming to look at it then would never show up (whats up with that anyways- why can't they make a simple call and say they are not interested anymore?? is it that hard??) anyways after a long wait we finally got a buyer! WAHOO! What a relief it was to see that thing drive away... off of my hands, out of my driveway! See ya old pal!! I just hope that if anything goes wrong the people who bought it wont come hunt us down (literally). They were a bit scary and came from gangstaville Ogden!! Yikes!!!

Confessions of a grocery store shopper!

I am just confessing right now before anyone notices it on my thighs and butt later on today. I did it... I caved in and bought the Cadbury milk choclate candy bar! I just went to the store to buy stuff to make a salad and milk- thats all... and then while waiting, so patiently in line.. it caught my eye.. the beautiful choclate wrapped so nicely in the shiny purple wrapper. I couldn't resist, after taking a few glimpses I reached out and grabbed it- trying to be secret about it so none of the ladies behind me would notice my caving in..... and just like that it was in my cart ready to be bought.Now- 2 hours later- I sit here at the computer with two squares left to be gobbled down. I ate the whole thing!
Im confessing because I dont normally do that sort of thing because I know they put the crap up at the front to temp us, well, I am here to admit in front of all of my blogging friends- that I fell into temptation! It was really good too.... maybe just what I needed to make my day alittle better:)

Will they ever leave us alone?

So you think if we drink this stuff it will get rid of all the germs inside??
I just might consider making each one of us take a bath in sanitizer then have us all drink a cup! I am so sick of being sick at our house... I swear once one sickness is gone, another one is right there to take its place! Oh and sorry for all of you who we have passed our germs onto.. (you know who you are:) Anyone else dealing with this issue? I am soo ready for summer to be here just to get rid of all this Gunk! BLAH!

3 WHOLE YEARS!!

Happy Anniversary!!

Today is the day three years ago, that I made the best decision on my life... and its only gotten better from there! How lucky I am to be married to the man that I am married to- and to be able to share my life and dreams with him. I wont say that the past years have been bliss- because I would sure love to go back and erase some of the things that I have said and done, and the arguments and fights- but without those hard times, we wouldn't be where we are today, or have the strength in our relationship that we have!
I honestly consider myself a lucky person to have such a good husband who treats me so well. He is always worrying about my happiness- and would skip a night out with the guys to spend it setting home with me, just because he didn't want me to be alone with nothing to do! He has made it possible for me to stay home with Brenley, and I love him even more because he knows how important that is to me. I could go on and on- but for the sake of those reading I will stop:) Here's to three years and going strong.... can't wait to make more memories!!

Oh no you DIDN'T!!!

Ok, so I am fuming right now! It takes alot to get me going......... but I am going and when I write the reason why, I am sure most of you will understand. I say most of you because, well, you are mothers and if not mothers... you at least are the one who takes care of a lot of the house work! Am I right??? Well let me explain to you! Last night I was speaking with someone (well actually it is 12:45 in the morning so it was just a few hours ago.. but I was just up with Brenley and I couldn't stop thinking about this, so, I decided to blog!) anyways- I was having a conversation with this person and they had the guts to ask me "what do you do all day?" OK, so no it wasn't a nice "what do you do all day"- they were really wondering what I did! (my jaw dropped that they would even ask such a question!) I get to stay home with Brenley and consider it to be such a privlage... I don't do it because I am lazy and hate to work, in fact- some days I wish I could get out of the house every day and get a break and go to a normal job- But I don't so that means I am home all day watching soap operas and eating cheetos right? WRONG! I know alot of you are right here with me and even those who do go to work are right here with me too.... I honestly don't stop all day long... I can't explain everything I do...heck some days I look at the clock and its almost four and I am wondering where my day has gone because I have been running all day. I am not perfect at keeping my house clean, but I try- some days it is embarassing and I just hope no one comes to visit because I still have dishes in the sink from two nights ago and the laundry is piled up and the toilet is dirty and there is a strange smell coming from my garbage and sooo on- BUT that doesn't mean I haven't been busy all day!!! I have come to realize everyone has those day's where the house is a pigsty and I know that they don't choose to have it that way- If we all were perfect and had even an extra three hours in the day our houses would be spotless and would always be in order- but lets get back to reality here and realize its not always like that!!! So you want to know what I do all day hu?? well why not come over and spend a few days observing... I won't mind- go ahead and plop your butt next to my nice big pile of clean laundry needing to get folded and I will show you!
