WOW! What a summer!!!!!... we have been so busy I feel like I haven't had a second to actually sit down and post on my blog! I feel like I am not alone on this one... so I hope most of you understand that life sometimes gets a bit crazy!... When we have been out- I have not taken too many pictures because sometimes I feel like I just want to enjoy the moment instead of always trying to snap the "perfect" picture. But, I did get a few taken... here are just a few highlights of our wonderful summer!!

Larry and I were able to go on two little weekend getaways without Brenley! The first one was a softball tournament Larry played in down in St. George and the second was a trip to Lava Hot Springs! We had a blast on both trips and enjoyed catching up with good friends!

Here is Brenley loving camping!! She just go's go's go's!

WAHOO!! Larry was the 1st place winner of horseshoes at the annual Crook family reunion! What a stud!!

We have only made one trip to the Zoo but it was fun!! We headed there with all the cousins on Larry's side! (Don't let the look on Brenley's face fool you- she loved the carosel!)

Our good friends Lauren and Dustin were married this summer! Here is a group of us gals waiting outside the temple!

SWIMING at the lake!

We didn't get in as much swimming as we had hoped to this summer, but the times that we have, we have had fun! Brenley loves the water!!

Here we are on the 24th of july- we were house/dog sitting at Larry's parents house so we decided to call up a few friends and have a bbq and fireworks! We had a good time just chatting and hanging out!

We have had such a good summer! It has been crazy... but so fun. Between looking for houses, Family reunions, softball games, friend outing, church callings, weddings, and other crazy activities, we have kept ourselves running We have a bit more playing to be done before the summer is actually over but, I will try to keep you up to date on the most current events of the Keele Family!

FATHERS

I love this picture of my dad (far right) with his brothers. He is happy as can be! There is no other place that he would rather be than with family up in the mountains (well, maybe a baseball field)

This was the day that Brenley was Born. Doesn't Larry look like a Proud Father?

Greg loves his family!(we love him too!) He just looks happy to be there!

Happy Fathers Day to the FATHERS in my life!!!

First I will give a shout out to the Father that raised me... I have been so lucky to have been raised by such a good man! I know I wasn't the easiest daughter to raise... and am sure that he would have liked to take a stick and knock me across the head a few times when I was being a butt, but never once did I feel that he did not love me. There was a time back in high school that he would drive me to school every morning because I was "too cool" to ride the bus. We had some of the best conversations on that car ride! Its moments like those that you don't appreciate until they are gone. I look up to my dad so much! My dad has always been there for me and I know will always be. I have always said that I wanted to marry a man like my dad.... I remember back when Larry and I were getting really serious, My dad and I were able to sit down together many times and talk about marriage and my future plans. Their is nothing that I wanted more than my dad's Approval of Larry..... which my dad gave without hesitation!
That leads me to another "Father" in my life. The father of my home now and our sweet daughter
! Larry is everything I could ask for in a husband and father. And no.. I am not just saying that. There are many times I sit back and just think about my life and how lucky I am to have such an amazing man that I get to be married to! Well yeah, we have our little disagreements here and there- but they are usually over within about five min. He is so forgiving of my faults... I have never met a more forgiving person.... He also works so hard for our family.. he will come home some nights so burnt out but wont say a thing... he makes it possible for me to be able to stay home with Brenley.. he looks out for us and always has our wants and needs in mind. He is Truly my best friend!
Onto the next "Dad" in my life, My father in Law. What a good man he is. Larry is the strong man he is because of his father. His dad challenges him to be a better person and to always strive to reach higher. I have so much respect for him and the advice that he gives to us. He is a very knowledgeable man and is always looking out for his family's best interest. He is so generous to us and always willing lend a hand. From day one he welcomed me into the family with open arms never once making me feel unwelcome.
I am so lucky to have such wonderful fathers in my life... as I was writing this post the thought that kept coming to my mind was that I also have my Father in Heaven that I know has and always will always be there for me. There have been times in my life that I have chosen to push my Father in Heaven to the side and focus on other things that seem more important at the time... but its funny because each time I fall it seems that he is waiting patiently for me to reach up my hand and just ask for help.. and he pulls right back up again. I know that his love is unconditional and I am so grateful for that and the patience he has with me!
THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE FATHERS IN MY LIFE! I HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL FATHERS DAY! I LOVE YOU ALL!

Memorial Day

Well Here it is another vacation come and gone... this year we decided we would not spend another Memorial day weekend at home- So thank goodness Larry's parents wanted to venture out with us to find a camping spot! It was so nice to get away from life for the weekend and just have a break! Even if it rained all day Sunday- I was just happy to be out!
Brenley had a blast playing outside... eating the rocks and mud was her favorite... she even tried to get a night crawler in her mouth- (I am gagging right now just thinking about it!! yuck!!) She just loved being able to be outside!
We had fun and can't wait for the next outing!!!

1 YEARS OLD!!!

Yesterday was my sweet baby girls birthday! I can't believe that a year has already gone by... she is growing up way to fast, but I am loving every minute of it! She is now officially a walker (she has been walking for about a month now, but I have just been slow to blog about it) She has quit the little personality coming out in her as well! All day long she runs around talking about who knows what. Her favorite thing to do these days is to go up the stairs and visit grandpa. Every time she disappears, I know where to find her- upstairs on grandpa's lap jabbering away. She is also saying a few words now- Dad, Mom, All done, hat, grandpa, hot, shoe, sock..... I am sure Larry and I are the only ones that know what she is saying....
It is so fun to watch her learn and grow everyday, I can't imagine life without her!
Happy Birthday Brenley! We Love you!!!!
(Stay tuned for part 2 of Brenleys Birthday-The Wild Birthday Party)

Easter Shmeaster

To start our Easter Celebrations off the one and only EASTER BUNNY showed up at our doorstep! He knocked while we were sitting down for dinner with my Grandpa. Larry went to the door to see who it was and low and behold it was the Easter Bunny! That darn bunny handed Larry and Easter egg and pushed his was past him without saying a word! It was so funny because we really had no clue who it was at first! (well besides the Easter bunny;) And as you can tell from the look on Brenley's face she was terrified!( I was too.. that is a freaky looking bunny.. looks more like a rat to me, but, whatever) If you enlarge the picture you can see how big her eyes are... and that easter egg in her hand.. well it ended up being thrown across the kitchen with a frantic scream! ( We never really found out who exactly was helping the E. bunny that day, except that it was someone in our ward??)

Our next Easter adventure brought us to Legacy retirement center! Brenley's Great Grandma Ann (Larry's moms mom) lives there and they throw a big easter egg hunt every year! Here is a picture of a few of the kiddo's after the big hunt up at Grandma's. Jaxon, Bailey, Brenley and Teegan. Poor Bailey had Brenleys sweet hand reaching in her bucket ever second she wasn't looking. She kept looking at Brenley like- excuse me, this is mine!!
Brenley was content with just one easter egg. She went and got it and sat down on the ground and started chewing on it. Not too exciting for mom who is trying to take pictures but she was happy so I let her be.

G-ma Miki, G-ma Ann and Aunt Bonnie watching the fun!

Sweet little Teegan just did not want to wait until they said go! He kept sneeking away before it was time. (you can see Crystal's hand holding onto the hood of his coat:)

Round two with the Easter bunny- not as bad as the first- but she still wanted nothing to do with him!

Last but not least our third Easter thrill was at my parents. We had a fun "Easter Brunch" and then another easter egg hunt!
All she needed was a basket and she was happy! She just stood there while all the kids ran around getting eggs... once in a while she would reach in and grab an egg and chew on it but she was just content standing by her basket!

Us adults got to join in on the fun too!! Can you just see the excitement in his face!?

Here are all the Kiddos ready for the countdown till they can skower the yard! They are a mixture of my cousins and neice and nefew.
What an exciting bunch! (you can totally tell Cortney's mother is a photographer- she knows how to pose! (hey her mom does too.. sorry sarah;) Everyone else could care less!)

Larry Brenley and my Dad... I love this Picture, Brenley just cuddled right down next to them!

Easter Dress! She was such a doll... It was so fun getting her all dressed up for Easter! She is so Beautiful,I love her more and more each day! I can't believe my baby is almost one! She is growing up way to fast!

And that was all about our eventful Holiday Season- Until next Holiday, stay tuned I possibly might have something exciting to post about.. maybe... probably not though...I will see what I can do... if nothing comes to mind... go ahead and find another blog to look at... I don't care.. whatever, I am tired and want to go to bed!

Monday, April 6

My cousin just sent me this e-mail- and I felt that it was definitely blog worthy! Larry informed me I need to post it somewhere in the house so he can refer to it often:)

WORDS WOMEN USE

(1) FINE: this is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) FIVE MINUTES: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five Minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) NOTHING: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) GO AHEAD: This is a dare, not permission. DON'T DO IT!

(5) LOUD SIGH: This is actually not a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) THAT'S OKAY: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistakes.

(7) THANKS: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says "THANKS A LOT" - that is pure sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say "You're welcome" ... that will bring on a "whatever")

(8) WHATEVER: Is a woman's way of saying Screw You!

(9) DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, I GOT IT: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "What's Wrong?"
