Brenley Muriel Keele

On Tuesday May 6th 2008 our Beautiful Healthy little girl arrived into this world. She decided to make her grand entrance at 11:29 a.m. weighing 8 lbs. 10 oz. and 22 in. long! Contractions started at about 2:30 that morning and by 5:00 we were off to hospital, both so excited knowing that after all this waiting and anticipation, it was finally happening, and on her exact due date, imagine that!! It was so crazy the love that I felt for this tiny little girl, the moment she was born. Right when I felt that last push and her coming out, I was so overcome with emotion, You always hear how much love a mother/ father has for their children- I never knew what that really felt like until that moment at the hospital! Nothing else mattered... I felt like everything was a bit hectic right after, but I honestly zoned myself out and just listened to that sweet cry. Larry stayed right by my side, and just held my hand... what an amazing man he is! My love grew so much stronger for him at that moment, and is continuing to grow more and more as I watch him with Brenley, and as he takes care of me while I am healing getting back to my full self.
I had the opportunity to be able to have a FULL delivery room during her birth. Some of you may think that is weird, and I totally understand, because I wasn't sure what I thought about others being in the room as well. When the time came down to getting ready to push, I had my mom, my Aunt Jean, Larry's mom, and Larry's dad in the room, and the nurse said, ok, who do you want in the room? And I felt totally fine with everyone being in there, maybe thats weird, maybe not, but I decided, Why not? It is such a neat expierience, and why not share it with them as well? Yeah, I made Greg (Larry's dad) stand behind me, he said he watched the monitors the whole time :) my mom and Larry helped me hold my legs and Barb and my Aunt Jean were being so supportive and "rooting me on"! All in all it was an amazing time and as I look back I wouldn't change a bit (well, maybe I would have my sis dad there, but he was at a meeting for work and was hurrying as fast as he could to get to the hospital... he arrived right after she was born, so he didn't miss much, and my sis was on a field trip with her little Cortney at Thanksgiving Point).
All in all it was a great Day/Delivery. We are just home now trying to adjust to life with a new family member. I am so grateful that everything went so well and she is so healthy! Thanks to all who have been so good to us and all the fun visitors! What an amazing Mothers Day Gift I have gotten!

What a man!!

Have any of you ever seen such a more manly man than that?? How sweet Larry was to paint my toenails for me! I have attempted many of times to get those things painted and I just can't bend over enough with this big belly to do it (well at least without passing out, or causing harm to others!) He was so willing to do it, and as you can see, he really was working hard! I had to keep myself from giggling because he was concentrating so hard on each toe, making sure it was perfect! I am so lucky to have such a good husband to help me out in critical times of need such as this one! He is the best! ( He will even massage those mammoth feet for me once in a while too!!)

Washcloths and Loofah's!!

So I have this fetish that only about two people know about- My mom and Larry. I have an issue with washcloths! You see, I can't ever use the same washcloth twice, no matter the circumstance! I wash my face every morning with one and then every night with a new one-- and when I shower, out comes another one. Here is the explanation- Whenever you use it, you are rubbing dead skin cells all over it and dirt and oil and anything else that may be on your body- so it becomes contaminated- and can only be cleaned by heading to the washer and making it through the Hot cycle! And I could never imagine sharing a washcloth with anyone!!EWW!---- so some of you may be thinking, that makes sense you might even do the same thing- well I just realized that I have another issue that has appeared! I can't use my loofah!! I have a cute pink one that sits in the shower, and every time I shower, it sits alone, not being touched! Its still in good shape, but I can't imagine using it because to me, it is covered in yucky bacteria fungus stuff from dead skin??? I think loofah's are wonderful and really are great at getting those great body washes lathered up- but I guess I am going to have to get a collection of those as well as my millions of washcloths! So am I crazy, weird, or what? Is this normal, does everyone else have this issue too and I just don't know about it?

HEY BABY!!

Here are a few pictures of my baby belly that my sis so kindly took! I feel like my middle has grown so much even since these pictures were taken but they will still be fun to look back on:) I just can't wait now until I can start posting pictures of the little gal that is inside of that belly! WAHOO!! I feel like time has flown by and now we are 20 days out (give or take a little)! I am getting so excited and a freaked out at the same time! BRING IT ON!!!

SMILE!!!
Today was such a good day! I started the day off with a trip to the temple (good way to start a day!) then got home and took a little nap until my sis got there with her kids. I watched them while she headed off to her doctors appointment. They are always so fun- her kids are full of so much personality they always make me smile! Then I headed off to IHOP to meet up with some of my friends who I don't see near enough! We all went to High School together and got together to catch up on life! It was so fun to just sit and chat... I think the waiter was ready to kick us out by the time we finally left!! I just love these girls, we have sooo many crazy memories together! I hope we can stay friends forever and continue making more memories! They both have the cutest little boy's- it's so crazy how old we are all getting- I can't wait until Brenley gets here so she can play with the little guys! I don't think she is going to have any girl friends! All of my friends have had boys, and on both sides of the family she will have boy cousins her age! She will be one tough little gal!!!! I went to doctor's after IHOP and the doc. says everything is going good! It's so fun to hear her little heart beat! Time is just sneaking up on me, I hope I'm all ready by the time she gets here!
